Please note that sports clinic patients must arrive by 7:30 am, as we are only open for walk-ins for a limited time before regular office hours, Monday through Friday.

Our sports injury clinic is staffed by board-certified orthopedic surgeons and a physician assistant, all specialized in sports medicine. In addition to caring for athletes of all ages and abilities, the Upstate Orthopedics' sports medicine team has provided treatments to professional athletic programs such as the Syracuse Chiefs, the Syracuse Crunch, the US Women's Olympic Ski Team, and the NY Jets during their Cortland training camp.

Patients with acute sports-related injuries are seen daily. You might need a referral to get checked by our physicians so to prevent any delays, it is advised to obtain referrals in advance. Patients are reminded to verify our participation with their insurance provider and bring their insurance cards and any relevant records and imaging studies on the day of the visit.
