Upstate Orthopedics congratulates Jeffrey Greenberg, MD, MS, on becoming the 76th President of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) at the organization’s September 2021 annual meeting. The mission of ASSH is to advance the science and practice of hand and upper extremity surgery through education, research, and advocacy on behalf of patients and practitioners. ASSH has over 3,800 members including all types of healthcare professionals that work to improve the care of the hand. Through research, education, and extraordinary service of their members and volunteers, ASSH has served as the leading upper extremity surgery society.
Dr. Greenberg is a 1991 graduate of the Upstate Medical University Orthopedic Surgery residency. He has gone on to become an international leader in hand surgery. Dr. Greenberg practices at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis, nationally recognized for its outstanding care, research and education.
