Upstate Orthopedics just received notice that Karen Howard, MS received a $165,000 Fellowship from the National Institutes of Health to fund her research. Karen is an MD/PhD student here at Upstate. Kenneth Mann, PhD serves as her Research Advisor, Megan Oest, PhD serves as a Co-advisor, and Tim Damron, MD serves as her clinical mentor.
